Red Hot

What is Red Hot?

The Red Hot technique creates bold-color highlights. It is ideal for any client that desires head-turning, dramatic color. (If hair is relaxed or permed, wait one week and one shampoo before performing.)

What products do you use?

Jazzing Sheer Haircolor, BW Powder Lightener, Clairol Professional Clairoxide Developer.

  1. Using BW Powder Lightener mixed with 20-volume Clairoxide, create highlights using method of choice (foils, paint-on, comb-on or finger streaking), create highlights throughout the head, wherever you want Red Hot bold color. After highlights are processed, shampoo hair gently and towel dry.

  2. Apply Jazzing #56, Cherry Cola, generously and thoroughly to all hair. Keep product off of scalp.

  3. Process 5 to 10 minutes at room temperature. Rinse well and lightly shampoo.
