Blazin' Intense Red

What is Blazin' Intense Red?

The Blazin' Intense Red technique creates radiant-red dimensional tones in Medium Brown hair, Natural Level 3.

What products do you use?

Basic White Powder Lightener, 10-volume Clairol Professional Developer, Clairol Professional Premium Crème 3RR, Medium Reddest Brown, and Premium Crème 4RR, Light Reddest Brown 20-volume Premium Crème Developer.
    • A. Create vertical triangle partings, alternating the direction of points from top to bottom around head form. Leave out hair below occipital.
    • B. Next, create texture and dimension. On points facing up, slice partings in half vertically. Prelighten one half to Orange contributing pigment with Basic White Powder Lightener mixed with 10-volume developer. Prelighten the other half to Dark Red-Orange. When degrees of lightening have been achieved, remove lightener from each section with a damp cloth.
    • A. While lightener is processing, comb Basic White mixed with 10-volume developer through fringe for 5 minutes to break-up texture.
    • B. Mix Formula 1: 2 oz. Premium Crème 3RR mixed with 2 oz. 20-volume Premium Crème Developer. Apply to all free hair. Process 30 minutes. Shampoo, condition and towel dry.

  3. Mix Overlay Formula: 2 oz. Premium Crème 4RR mixed with 2 oz. 10-volume Premium Crème Developer. Apply to entire head. Process 15 minutes.
